CELEBRATE AMERICA
The City of Tallahassee presents Celebrate America at Tom Brown Park from 6-10 p.m. Enjoy live music, children’s activities, food trucks, exhibitors, and a spectacular fireworks display. Free StarMetro shuttles from the former Sears parking lot at Governor’s Square Mall run from 6 to 8:30 p.m., with return service following the fireworks until 11 p.m.

INDEPENDENCE BASH, RED, WHITE & MOON
JULY 4
Celebrate the weekend of the Fourth after dark at The Moon with Independence Bash: Red, White & Moon. Hosted by DJ Demp, the event will feature live music and entertainment from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Physical ID is required, and VIP tickets are available now.

BEARDS, BADGES, AND MUSTACHES CHARITY COMPETITION
JULY 11
Celebrate bold beards, marvelous mustaches, and a welcoming community at Beards, Badges & Mustaches, a family-friendly facial hair competition held at Oyster City Brewing Company. The event will feature live music from Flamingo Party, raffles, vendors, and awards for competitors, all in support of Tallahassee’s first responders. The event is free to the public, with registration required for bearded and mustached competitors.

INFINITY CON
JULY 11-12
Explore the worlds of Infinity Con, an all-ages pop culture convention where comics, gaming, anime, artists, and creators of all kinds come together across themed “worlds” of entertainment. The weekend will feature areas such as Forge for cosplay, Isle of Wonder for kids, The Abyss for horror, and many more mystical realms to discover. Attendees will have the chance to shop, learn, inspire, and connect with fandoms and activities they love most.

KITCHENABLE KIDS COOKING CAMPS

Young cooks, get ready to sharpen your kitchen skills, build confidence, and discover new favorite recipes at KitchenAble’s summer cooking camp. Held in a private teaching kitchen off Briarcliff Road, this camp combines cooking demonstrations with hands-on participation assisted by professional chefs. Kids will practice kitchen safety, teamwork, and patience to prepare real food for their own dinner table. “Our goal is simple: Teach real skills and recipes they can use for the rest of their lives while having a delicious and delightful time.”

SKIES OVER TALLAHASSEE

Discover the skies above Tallahassee during a free monthly planetarium show at the challenger Learning Center. Additionally sponsored by the Tallahassee Astronomical Society, this event offers a family-friendly program that encourages guests to view that night sky with a bit more wonder, offering a closer look at our current solar systems, planets, constellations, comets, and other celestial sightings. TALLAHASSEE BEER FEST

Raise a glass at Tallahassee’s eighth annual beer festival at the Donald L. Ticker Civic Center. As North Florida’s largest beer-tasting event, guests can try unlimited samples of over 400 different fermentations, including ciders, ales, meads, sparkling sodas, seltzers, wines, and more. Enjoy the air-conditioned exhibit hall and arena floor with other attendees. Of course, attendees must be at least 21 years old and bring a valid ID.

FSU FOOTBALL

The Seminoles will kick off their 2026 season at Doak Campbell Stadium as Florida State hosts New Mexico State. Cheer on the Seminoles at this matchup—only the second meeting between the two teams, with FSU previously earning a 36-0 home victory over the Aggies in 1964.

CAMP CONGRESS FOR GIRLS TALLAHASSEE
AUGUST 30
From campaign speeches to congressional debates, Camp Congress for Girls Tallahassee is an all-girls event that gives participants the chance to step into the world of U.S. politics. This camp guides girls through the basics of the U.S. government before inviting them to build their own campaign, run for office, vote in elections, and take on the roles of lawmakers as they draft, debate, and vote on a bill crafted by their peers. All participants are rewarded with a certificate of completion, and Girl Scouts will earn a new badge.
