3. What are the top five items on your bucket list?
– Have a photograph published in Communication Arts or National Geographic
– Be a Tallahassee Top Single
– Take these road trips: The Great Ocean Road of Australia, The French Riviera from Nice to Monaco and The Patagonia Highway.
– Raise a family equally as amazing as my own
– Take advantage of every opportunity in life
4.What three words best describe you? Optimistic, Enthusiastic, Energetic (My Mother would argue three words aren’t enough!)
5. What’s something interesting about you that a lot of people don’t know? After I read a book (especially when I borrow it), I write a short inspirational message somewhere inside for others to find. I only put my first name but in the past six years I’ve had three people contact me after finding a message – one of which was in Italy.
6. What do you keep in the trunk of your car? Currently: (2) tailgating chairs, (1) camouflage boat seat, (1) bottle of unopened boat engine oil, (2) FSU window flags, (1) 24-piece tool set (1) camera tripod (1) Communication Arts Typography Annual (1) slightly broken duck call (1) pair of hedge clippers (1) softball bat bag containing: (3) bats (1) glove (10) balls AND (1) abrupt realization I need to clean out my trunk…
7.What is a fear you’d like to overcome? I have a healthy fear that I might not experience enough interesting cultures, places and faces in my lifetime. Thankfully, the route to overcoming that fear means striking through #1 on my bucket list.
8.What is your guilty pleasure? King-size Snickers and a 20oz. Mountain Dew (Zero guilt if consumed separately.)
9. What was your best Halloween costume? I didn’t think I could top my Pee-wee Herman costume from 2010 but this past year, a few co-workers and I reenacted The Lonely Island’s “The Creep” music video. Best Halloween I’ve ever had.
10. What saying do you overuse? I overuse (in a good way) a saying my Father told me: "There's no value in looking back unless it's used to move forward."
11. On what occasion (if ever) do you lie? I have never lied. (Except when answering this question.)
12. What is your current state of mind? OVERJOYED (that I was able to avoid the lying question).
13. What do you value most in your friends? Diversity. Diverse interests and experiences bring better perspectives.
14. What talent would you like to have? I can’t help but replace the word talent with superpower (having a talent is the closest thing to a superpower anyways, right?) Therefore, teleporting would be a nice talent.
15. What is your most treasured possession? My external hard drive is my most treasured possession due to its contents. If it wasn’t the sole keeper of my digital life (photographs, music, writings, etc.), then it would be pretty worthless. Funny how that works.
16. What is your greatest extravagance? I always prefer Fancy Ketchup.
17. DJ or band at a wedding? If I made this decision without the bride to be, I wouldn't make a great future husBAND. So, I’ll wave a white BANDanna until the time comes. It just wouldn’t be right to answer without her…
18. What is your favorite smartphone app? Tie between Instagram and Spotify.
19. What is the first thing that you notice about someone?Confidence.
20. If you could be a cartoon character, who would you be? Family Guy’s Peter Griffin. He lives without limits and finds humor in everything.
