It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and our local neighborhoods shine with immersive holiday light displays. Grab some hot cocoa, load up the car, and visit these free winter wonderlands near Tallahassee.

Jingle on Woodgate Way

Catherine and Doug Baer’s Whoville-themed light show is sure to put any Grinch in a festive mood. Between the Baers’ handmade wood cutouts, a nativity scene, and a new 8-foot Christmas tree light display, this show is a work of art.

The music programming is curated with help from friends who have master’s degrees in music, creating a vibrant blend of sight and sound. Set your car radio to 95.9 FM, or dance to the yard speakers.

The display runs November 29 through December 31. Donations benefit Companion Animal Rescue Endeavor.

Hours: Daily, 5:30 to 10 p.m.

Address: 1421 Woodgate Way, Tallahassee

Endicott Lights

Carl Fuqua has two holiday joys: Christmas lights and making people happy. Since 2017, he and his wife, Angela, have transformed their home into Endicott Lights.

Fuqua calls it “a big jukebox” since visitors can choose from seven musical sequences to play through their car radios, set to 88.7 FM. Enjoy the new musical addition, Avril Lavigne’s “What Child is This?,” while admiring the 12,000 lights.

The display runs from the first Saturday after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve.

Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 6 to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 6 to 10:30 p.m.

Allison Christmas Spectacular

Last year, the Allison Christmas Spectacular expanded the drive-through experience to include Havana Christmas Tree Farm, decorated with mega trees, candy canes, and floating ornaments. This year, more than 1 million synchronized lights will welcome the show’s eighteenth year, along with music and scripture readings on 102.1 FM.

“It’s a true family effort,” says Daniel Allison, the dreamer behind the display. His father, mother, and grandmother help bring the magical vision to life.

The display runs Thanksgiving through January 1, 2026. Donations are accepted for the display and security costs.
