2016 Top Singles Welcome Reception
17 Top Singles/17 Nonprofits to Support
Slightly nervous yet highly enthusiastic, the 2016 Top Singles gathered at presenting sponsor Tallahassee Plastic Surgery Clinic’s location to meet and mingle. Between sips and snacks, Tallahassee’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes began to laugh and learn about one another during the first of many moments together over the coming months.
The singles were welcomed and presented with their photos from the recent Top Singles photo shoot at DoubleTree Hotel, which will soon appear in the July/August issue of Tallahassee Magazine. After oh’s and ah’s, the singles were educated on how their journey as the 2016 class would progress through individual and group fundraising efforts.
Dr. Alfredo Paredes, Dr. Larry Harper and Dr. Jeffrey Rawlings of Tallahassee Plastic Surgery greeted and thanked the singles for their lively spirits and giving support. The doctors then offered tours of the first-class clinic. As the night concluded, the singles departed energized and prepared for the fun and philanthropy they would soon engage in.
These nine women and eight men are dedicating their summer to support the chosen charities that are closest to their hearts. Each single will conduct their own fundraising efforts leading up to the big event on July 30, beginning with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and auctions at 7 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. The night of the event, each single will rush the stage paired with valuable getaway and staycation packages to be auctioned off to maximize their final fundraising total for their selected charities.
This year’s event will feature a limited number of VIP tables, which offer front and center reserved seating to enjoy the night’s entertainment. VIP tables will pamper you with the best seats in the house, appetizer platters, two bottles of wine, two complimentary drinks from the bar and wait service. General admission tickets allow you to socialize while enjoying two free complimentary beverages. Click here to buy your tickets to the most enticing and entertaining event of the summer. General Admission: $43, VIP Ticket: $134.38, VIP Table of 10: $1,075.
Tallahassee Magazine is overjoyed to present this event for the seventh year, made possible by our generous sponsors, Tallahassee Plastic Surgery Clinic, The Gem Collection, Capital Eurcocars, Fuel Salon + Store, Cole Couture, SilverFox Label, ResortQuest Gulf Coast, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, DoubleTree Hotel, Fire Betty’s, Fox and Stag, Live In Tallahassee and AM Break with Ann & Audra.
