Why should your pet win? Bobo is the sweetest boy in the whole world! He doesn’t know a stranger and is always ready for hugs and treats.
He may not be the best “retriever,” but he makes up for it in snuggles and zoomies. He is a friend to all — Humans, dogs, cats and even reptiles included.
In the fall of 2022, Bobo became an official therapy dog through the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Animal Therapy program.
With his partner, Holly, he enjoys getting to visit with those who could use a smile and meeting new friends at community events. Bobo is fiercely loved by his family and friends, and they want to share what a good boy he is with the rest of Tallahassee!
Anything else we should know? Bobo’s companion, Holly, is a psychology Ph.D. student at Florida State University currently doing research in animal assisted therapy.
Next Fall, Bobo will be part of her dissertation examining whether having a therapy animal present in class can increase the mental well-being of students.
