What is unique about your pet: Not your typical chihuahua, Biscuit more like a miniature lab that is up for anything—dock diving, agility, rally, trick dog. He loves it all.
Please tell us about any of your pet’s unusual characteristics or special talents: He has many tricks–the funniest is he plays opossum, though I haven’t been able to convince him they don’t wag their tails while they are playing dead.
Please share a heartwarming story: One day while at the dog park I called Biscuit over, and the lady I was chatting with asked if he did animal therapy at the hospital. I said yes, and she got her phone out, showed me a picture, and asked “Is that him?” I told her it was. She explained he was the first dog to visit her while hospitalized. She had many more visits and couldn’t thank him enough. She was so appreciative and kept cuddling him at the park thanking him. She said the animal therapy dogs made such a positive impact on her recovery.
What makes your pet special to you or your family: He keeps me going and doesn’t let me spend too much time on the sofa. He loves going places and will howl like a little wolf when it is time to move. He is such a happy little ball of energy.
Why should your pet be Tally Top Pet: He has made such an impact on so many Tallahassee residents as a Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Animal Therapy Dog. He brings comfort and joy everywhere he goes.
