Tally Top Pet Presents Proceeds to Be The Solution

The participation from the community to garner over $15,000 for Be The Solution's mission was astounding

Tallahassee proved to have the prettiest pets and friendliest furry faces as determined by the submissions to the Tally Top Pet Photo Contest. On Nov. 1, 2019 the competition opened up to submissions. Residents could then cast their votes with a $1 donation. From this, the top 16 were determined and photographed to further entice voting for the top 8, top 4, the final 2 and the winner, Loci, a beautiful pixie-bob cat who was featured on the cover of Tallahassee Magazine’s May/June issue. Between voting donations and optional donations, Tally Top Pet raised $15,673 for Be The Solution, which provides low cost spay and neuter vouchers. Be The Solution has drastically decreased the amount of homeless pets, unwanted pets and animal suffering. “The participation from the community to garner over $15,000 for Be The Solution’s mission was astounding,” said Mac Little, Sales and Events Manager of Rowland Publishing. “The check presentation today was a final hoo-rah for the animals in our community that we were able to support through Be The Solution with the partnership of presenting sponsor, North Florida Animal Hospital. Especially with the current COVID-19 struggles, we all were ecstatic to see one another safely and celebrate!”
