Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra performs Holiday Magic

The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra presents its annual Holiday Magic concerts on Dec. 9 at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall.
The concert hall will ring with holiday favorites from traditional carols and sing-alongs to Strauss waltzes and melodies from The Nutcracker.
Holiday Magic, sponsored by First Commerce Credit Union and Six Pillars Financial Advisors, will be performed twice. The matinee performance begins at 2:30 p.m. and is family-friendly and filled with fun for the little ones. The evening performance begins at 8 p.m. and includes a Pre-Concert Experience, sponsored by Ameris Bank. The TSO Cocktail Hour begins at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of the concert hall, and a free Pre-Concert Talk featuring Maestro Darko Butorac begins at 7 p.m.
This year’s Holiday Magic concerts bring together several local choirs and choruses, including the Chiles High School Chorus, Fellowship Presbyterian Church Choir, First Presbyterian Church Choir, St. John’s Episcopal Church Choir, St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church Choir, and Trinity United Methodist Church Choir, for a festive, musical celebration. The program will include works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Strauss, Puccini and Rutter as well as selections from The Nutcracker, traditional favorites, and a holiday sing-along. These beautiful concerts provide an ideal opportunity to gather with family, friends and loved ones for a memorable holiday experience.
