Mary-Ann Fares
Board-certified in General and Vascular Neurology, Dr. Fares received her medical degree from St. Georges University, West Indies and completed her Neurology Residency at the University of Florida, where she received an Outstanding Resident Teacher Award, the Florida Society of Neurology Research Award and where she served as the Chairman of the Graduate Medical Education Committee. After Graduating from Neurology Residency, she continued her training in Vascular Neurology at the University of Florida where her passion for stroke and critical care developed.
After graduating from her Vascular Fellowship, Dr. Fares served as the Stroke Medical Director at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA for two years before embarking on further training in her Neuroendovascular Surgery Fellowship. With the addition of Dr. Fares, TNC provides the most advanced board-certified neurovascular specialty care physicians in the region.
