Experience Serenity at Millennium at Midtown Nail and Day Spa

Millennium at Midtown Nail and Day Spa, the latest addition to the Whole Foods Plaza on Thomasville Road, revealed their beautiful new establishment at a Grand Opening Celebration Thursday, Feb. 13.

The event kicked off at 4:30 p.m. with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting — including a little help from the Florida State University Cheerleaders — and continued through the evening with libations, hors d’oeuvres by Klassic Katering, giveaways and complimentary massages in the new Bamboo Massage Lounge.

The 3,000-square-foot facility is the second full-service, high-end day spa operated by Tammy and Michael Nguyen, who also own the award-winning Millennium Nail and Day Spa on Kerry Forest Parkway, and The Nail Bar at Bannerman and Thomasville roads. The innovative couple’s latest day spa surpasses expectations with superb customer service, Aveda, Jane Iredale and Moroccanoil products, and a relaxing atmosphere.

“We love our Northeast Tallahassee clients and serving them at our Kerry Forest Parkway location, but for many existing and new customers, the Whole Foods Plaza is very convenient, and we knew we had the community’s support to expand to a second Millennium location,” said Tammy Nguyen. “We’re filling a niche in Midtown.”

Millennium at Midtown offers popular day spa services: nails, hair, waxing, skin care and massage. However, one new and exciting new concept sets it apart from other locations — the "Bamboo Massage Lounge." This Zen-like, state-of-the-art massage room features six massage recliners, allowing clients to come in with friends and family and enjoy foot or full-body clothed massages together.

“It is the perfect ‘girls night’ idea — we have already had many inquiries about 21st birthdays, bridal events and more,” said a staff member. The room was booked solid for free sample massages during the grand opening event.

In addition to free massage, guests at the grand opening celebration toured the gorgeous new facility. Exuding serenity with décor in shades of green, beige, white and brown, one can’t help but calm down and relax during a visit to Millennium at Midtown.

“I can’t believe there was NOTHING here a few months ago, and now it’s this beautiful spa!” enthused one celebration participant.
