Aloft Tallahassee Downtown’s 5th Anniversary Birthday Bash
One of the best hotels in town, Aloft Tallahassee Downtown, celebrated its fifth anniversary on Sept. 10 with an original birthday bash to remember. The night kicked off with a ribbon cutting by the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce to mark the milestone. Then, party goers mixed and mingled between the pink and gray balloons in WXYZ bar, with proceeds from bar sales benefiting Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Big Bend.
The music of Tallahassee’s own Boyd and Wood filled the room while bulbs from the Photo Fun Booth flashed in the background. Grasslands Brewery provided samples of its much-anticipated flagship amber rye ale and tropical IPA. Additionally, Last Hope Rescue benefited from a 50/50 raffle and had adoptable dogs wandering throughout the re:mix lobby.
Door prizes included weekend getaway packages to Atlanta, Georgia, and Asheville, North Carolina, as well as tickets to local events. All in all, it was an evening to remember with more than 150 in attendance to celebrate Aloft Tallahassee Downtown and help some of the area’s favorite not-for-profits.
