Dr. J-P Bastien received his dental degree from McGill University, considered by many the “Harvard of Canada”, in 2006. After completing a residency program at the V.A. Medical Center in Gainesville, FL, he moved toTallahassee. His background and training has made him a well-rounded dentist, highly experienced in treating adults and children in all phases of general dentistry. Dr. Bastien has completed numerous post-graduate courses in cosmetics, dental implants, and pathology. He is fluent in French and Creole.

Dr. Bastien is an active member of local, state, and national dental associations including The American Dental Association (ADA) and The Florida Dental Association (FDA). Dr. Bastien is also a Member of the Leon County Dental Association Board and Chairman of the TCC Dental Hygiene Advisory Board here in Tallahassee.

Dr. Bastien is involved in volunteer work around the community through the WeCare Dental Network and the Children’s Medical Services of the Florida Department of Health. Dr. Bastien is caring, compassionate, patient, and values the relationship he shares with his patients. He enjoys family outings with his two kids Olivia and Julian, soccer, and movies.
