Kenneth Kato, MD
Dr. Kato was born in Chicago, Illinois. He earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Michigan State University then graduated Cum Laude from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Florida. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida State University Medical School.
Dr. Kato is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The Florida Society of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Refractive Surgery, and Florida Medical Associations. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the Capital Medical Society.
He donates his services locally through the We Care Network, Blind Services, and Children’s Medical Service. He also participates in the National Eye Care Project which provides eye care services for the nation’s disadvantaged elderly.
Dr. Kato and his wife support multiple charitable organizations and are strong patrons to the Arts in Tallahassee. They enjoy family vacations and spending time with their three wonderful children.
