Dr. Joshua Fuhrmeister was born and raised in Iowa and completed his medical degree at the University of Iowa. After his residency, he took part in a Fellowship program for Pain Management at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Fuhrmeister joined the Tallahassee Neurological Clinic’s Division of Pain Management in 2006. Since then, he has established himself as a compassionate, knowledgeable physician who exceeds the standard of care for his patients alongside a team of reliable and dedicated health care professionals to assist him in all aspects of patient care.

Dr. Fuhrmeister is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Pain Management.  In addition, he belongs to the Florida Medical Association and the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
