Celebrate the art of creative living, learn something new, support Gadsden Arts programs in our community, and support our artist members by buying your pass for A Week with the Arts 2021! A Week with the Arts takes place online and at Gadsden Arts January 26-30, 2021.
A Week with the Arts features a fantastic online auction of 70 original, high quality works of art by our region’s most accomplished artists. Bidding begins at just 50-60% of market for works by more than fifty well-known artists including Dean Mitchell, Natalia Andreeva, Jim Miller, R.T. Smith, Randy Brienen, and Eluster Richardson. Auction art can be viewed at the museum January 26-30, 10am-5pm, face coverings required.
Auction participants can also vote for People’s Choice awards, including the “Best of Show” that will be awarded to one of our participating artists! A Shop till you Drop pass offers access to the auction all week.
Also enjoy live online presentations by creative talent in our community, presenting new ways to bring artful living into our daily lives! Enjoy Collecting and Decorating with Art presented by Mary MacNamara and Kenan Fishburne, Art in Nature Floral Design with Kay Edwards, and Beverages and Baskets with Beth Allman. Also enjoy Cocktails with the Curator and the announcement of our People’s Choice Awards. A Go with the Flow pass includes auction access and all of these live online presentations.
Last, you can enjoy the Art of Dining on Saturday, January 30, with a pickup Artisan Dinner Tote by Black Fig, and live streamed happy hour including a cooking demonstration, Gadsden Arts Trivia, and auction finale!
