“We wanted to take a vintage approach with a little bit of modern flare. Over the last few years, chalk art has become more mainstream, appearing in the interior design of some of today’s most popular restaurants, boutiques and even publications such as Time Magazine, Esquire and Cincinnati Magazine. Our goal in this project was to maintain the visual identity of Tallahassee Magazine through a unique medium. Illustrating the Tallahassee Magazine logo typography in chalk ties into the overall design theme of the cover.”
