From Runway to Canvas, Denise D. Boineau Shares Her Art

Tallahassee based artist, Denise D. Boineau, is taking her fashion forward art from the runway to the canvas with her newest exhibit Fashion Framed to be showcased at the Thomasville Center for the Arts' Broad Street location in downtown Thomasville. From Feb. 4-29 her glamorous art will grace the walls of the Broad Street studio for fashion aficionados to admire. 

Boineau is well versed in the fashion industry having worked with Macy’s, Calvin Klein and Seventeen Magazine before moving to Tallahassee. Inspired by the trends and fabrics she encountered, Boineau set out to discover her passion for painting. 

Last spring she took residence at Studio 209 in Thomasville.

“The paintings are inspired by an ever-growing list of intangible qualities that I wanted to put down, in paint, on canvas,”

said Boineau. “Grace, allure, romance, charm, sophistication … the list goes on and on.” 

An opening night reception will be held on Feb.4 at TCA on Broad Street. Boineau will have paintings for sale the night of. These intricately detailed and stylishly stunning pieces are sure to please the community.
