Afternoon in the Field and Concert featuring JJ Grey & Mofro

Daniel Shippey

Imagine a brisk November afternoon with the sun slipping away behind a stately plantation home canopied by ancient oak trees. You are seated on a cozy blanket or lawn chair, a warm drink is in your hands and soulful tunes coming from a live entertainer fill the night air around you. Sounds like the ideal way to spend a Sunday, doesn’t it?

The 21st Annual Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival presents Afternoon in the Field and Concert, a celebration of the cultural heritage that makes North Florida and South Georgia one of the most beautiful areas to live.

Beginning at noon, the gorgeous Pebble Hill Plantation will welcome attendees to their rolling lawns and expansive green spaces with wildlife shows and exhibits.

Back by popular demand, is headliner, JJ Grey & Mofro who is sure to delight the audience yet again as last year he played a sold out show. Parker Millsap will be the opening act, which will kick off the night right.

Throughout the day and during the concert, food and beverages will be available from local vendors at the Red Hills Market. Afternoon in the Field and Concert is presented by Thomas County Federal and all proceeds benefit Thomasville Center for the Arts. To purchase tickets and learn more about the events click here.
