A supportive and congratulatory crowd on Thursday quaffed craft beers and tossed bean bags at a fundraiser held to honor Tallahassee Magazine’s 2015 Top Singles. The Singles manned the taps as competitors sought to become the evening’s Corn Hole champ. It all went down at The Brass Tap-Midtown, which served up flavorful flatbreads and dips.

Guests paid $20 for a craft beer, tasty appetizers and entry to the Corn Hole tournament at the event held as a prelude to the Top Singles extravaganza scheduled for Aug. 1 at the Civic Center. All proceeds went to the Singles’ chosen charities.

Those who attended were able to listen to three performers, Jacob’s Ladder’s smooth sounds, Dallas Bowlin’s country crooning and Tyler Denning’s looping lyrics from the Brass Tap’s interior and its spacious patio outside
