About Diesel

Age: 4 years
Partners For: 3 years
Unique Traits: “He never does anything at half speed. He’s full speed, wide open.”
Career Highlights: “He is patrol certified and narcotics certified. He has over 50 narcotics finds and nearly a dozen non-bite apprehensions.”
Pet Peeves: “My pet peeve is having to sneak around the house to get dressed prior to work. Once he hears the rattle of my belt, he starts spinning around in circles and whining because he’s ready to get out the door and off to work. His pet peeve with me is that I make him work for his toys.”
Special Moment: “After a long track and finding the suspect, I feel rewarded that he did his job to protect me and the other officers. He’s always willing to work, no matter how tired he is.”
